Welcome to Chef Dorothy. By placing an order, booking a service, or using our website (itschefdorothy.com), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.
Chef Dorothy provides weekly meal prep, private chef experiences, and catering services in Orange County, California. All meals are prepared fresh using locally sourced ingredients. Menu offerings, pricing, and availability are subject to change at our discretion.
All meal prep orders must be placed by Saturday at 11:59 PM (midnight) Pacific Time. Orders placed after the deadline may not be accepted or may be fulfilled in the next available cycle. All deliveries occur on Tuesday. A flat $10 delivery fee applies to all orders.
Payment is collected at the time of order through our secure checkout, powered by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.
For private chef bookings and catering inquiries, a deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Deposit amounts and payment schedules will be communicated during the booking process.
Meal prep orders may be cancelled or modified up to 24 hours before your scheduled delivery time for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery are not eligible for a refund, as ingredients will have already been purchased and preparation will have begun.
For private chef bookings, cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled service may forfeit the deposit, at our discretion.
For catering events, cancellation terms will be outlined in your catering agreement. Generally, cancellations within 7 days of the event may result in partial or full charges depending on preparation already completed.
If you are unsatisfied with your order, please contact us within 24 hours through our contact page. We will work with you to make it right.
All orders are delivery only. A flat $10 delivery fee applies. Delivery is available within select areas of Orange County. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic, weather, or incorrect address information provided by the customer.
Once meals are delivered, proper food storage is the customer's responsibility. Please refrigerate meals promptly and follow any reheating instructions provided.
Our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including but not limited to nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, and fish. While we take care to accommodate dietary restrictions noted in your order, we cannot guarantee that meals are free from traces of any allergen.
It is the customer's responsibility to communicate all food allergies and dietary restrictions at the time of ordering. Chef Dorothy is not liable for allergic reactions or adverse health effects resulting from consumption of our food products. If you have severe allergies, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss whether we can safely accommodate your needs.
All content on itschefdorothy.com, including text, images, logos, recipes, and design elements, is the property of Chef Dorothy and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
Chef Dorothy provides food services with care and professional standards. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order or service in question.
If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.
